Leveled one up last week using the A1 Adventure Mode, Five Bounty profile.
Using hellfire ring and whatever exp gear/ruby in helm I could find took just under 4.5 hours from lev 1-70.
Played on T6 with autoequip (options->other) turned on through level 40. Then turned it off, switched difficulty to T3, crafted lev 70 rares and enchanted reduced level on them (could also save some items you might instantly salvage to enchant as reduced level items for your new lev 40+ toon). If you use the bot autoequip and run gems in rare items make sure you have the options set to salvage rares or you will lose those gems. Don't forget to apply paragon pts to your new toon first thing.
