Am I doing something wrong?
when I untick kill boss on all my accounts leader and followers after the boss spawns they just run around the grift and not leave
did you test it?
just seen it does leave eventully but takes about 1-2 minutes to leave
When the character encounter the boss, there are several options,
1) leave game immediately
2) go back to town first and leave game
3) explore the map to the end, then leave game
currently it's using option 3, which may consume some extra time.
As a user, do you want to change it to using option 1), as it takes 10 seconds to leave game, there may be chances that the boss come and kill you during that 10 seconds

what every happened to BE being able to instantly leave game without the 10 second cooldown? or was that one of the ways blizz caught us?
Just updated to 0.9.465c, it'll use action 1, you can download it and try.

when doing greater rifts 65+ it takes to long wastes about 20-25% of your xp/h
i dont need gear or level gems anymore just need xp
